For this, we need you to send us 3 exams:

1- CBCT scan of the jaws with DICOM files (bone analysis)

2- Scan of the jaws with STL files (analysis of tooth and gum surfaces)

3- Standardized photographs for digital smile design. (These need to be taken and saved in high quality)

Photographs and scanning can be done at our clinic for a cost of 40 euros.

Within the first three years, we replace any implant fracture, ceramic porcelain, metal or screws at no additional charge.

Immediate loading means that the crown ("tooth itself") is  built and placed on the implant ("root") on the same day. There is no waiting healing time.

The success rate is extremely high, it is a safe procedure but is not suitable for all clinical cases.

The installation of dental implant is performed under anesthesia and therefore does not hurt. The feeling of what is being done remains but pain is not expected.

The phases are as follows:

1) Planning. Clinical examination, radiographs, CT scans will be requested according to the clinical case.

        1a)) Exodontics (extraction) of the root where the dental implant will be installed, when it has not been yet extracted. The implant can be installed in the same session or in another appointment session that may be scheduled after few weeks of extraction.

         1b) Procedures of bone or gum grafts. This may be necessary and in some cases may require more than one intervention lasting a few months.

2) Implant installation ("root in titanium"). In that same session  moulds may be made  for immediate installation (immediate loading, a few hours up to 12 days) of the crown ("tooth") on the implant.

       2a) Provisional Crown ("tooth"). It will replace the tooth during healing time between implant placement and installation of the final crown. It is not always necessary and can be fixed on the implant or removable.

3) Final crown installation ("tooth itself") on the implant ("root in titanium").

4) Maintenance. All dental treatment should follow a regular maintenance program.

The cost of  a dental implant will depend on the professional and  the circunstances of the clinical case, but can be broken down as follows:

1) Cost for the implant itself, "root" in titanium.

2) Cost for the "tooth" final crown supported by the implant. May vary according to the type of material. Metal ceramic, plastic metal, pure ceramics, zirconia, etc.

3) Cost for a 'tooth' temporary crown, when necessary, installed to be used during the healing period, between the implant placement and the final crown. Can be fixed on the implant (immediate loading) or removable.

4) Cost per extra interventions of bone regeneration or gum when necessary. This operation may be required more than once in a lot of cases or when there is gum and bone loss.

An experienced specialist can, from a complete physical examination and specific x-rays, anticipate and expect the specificity of each case as well as further the patient about the possible  "unexpected" occurrences such as the need for more bone regeneration interventions or non-integration of an implant.

A dental implant is a cylinder, usually made of titanium, which is used as a substitute for a lost tooth root.

The implant is installed in the alveolar bone and provides a solid support for the construction of a tooth supported thereon.

The crown (tooth itself), usually ceramic, is in turn screwed onto the implant.

1- The teeth replaced with dental implants offer the comfort and safety equal to or very similar to those offered by a natural tooth.

2- In the case of removable anchored dentures  on dental implants, they start to be stable,  always in the same position, stop moving and hurting when speaking or during meals. Significantly increases the safety and masticatory efficiency.

3. In case of the replacement of only one tooth, the dental implant prevents from wearing the adjacent teeth to perform fixed bridges.

Anyone who has to replace one or more tooth roots can receive dental implants. Some severe systemic diseases may contraindicate the intervention of the implant installation, therefore the same counter may contraindicate or require special care for other minor oral surgeries, such as tooth extractions and, gengivectomias, cise, among others.

Dental Implants are not indicated for people who have not completed their bone development. Usually between 16 and 21 years.
